Time Trials

Warm-up: 7:00 AM
The purpose of time trials is to establish official times for swimmers prior to the first Saturday meet. These times will be used by the coaches to determine who will swim in the Saturday meets. These times can also be used by the swimmers to measure individual progress throughout the season. Swimmers will swim and be timed in all strokes excluding relays. Please be sure to let the coach know that you will or will NOT be attending the meet. You must sign up by the deadline. You will not be able to sign up at the meet. PLEASE NOTE START TIME AND WARMUP SCHEDULE: Time Trials will start at 8am and swimmers should be at the pool for warm-ups at 7am. Swimmers will warm-up by age at the following times: 11 & Up 7:05-7:20am 9-10s 7:20-7:35am 8 u 7:35-7:50am Please read the information below regarding time trials. It is important that you log in to the website now and indicate whether or not your child will be attending this meet. Please choose the events your child will swim, with a maximum of all 4 strokes and IM. Preteam members do not attend Time Trials. See directions below. The following guidelines will be used: We also need you to volunteer!!! This is a great meet to try out a position you have been thinking of doing. There's no pressure and it's a fun time to learn. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, June 6th. |

Woodcliffe Community - Memorial Weekend Summer Kickoff Party

The Wahoos will be hosting the 2019 Summer Kickoff party on behalf of the Woodcliffe & Vistas HOAs over Memorial Weekend! This is an event for the entire Woodcliffe Park & Vistas communities, not just the swim team. Make sure to join us for food & fun as we kickoff the 2019 pool season and renew those summer friendships! The Wahoos will NEED LOTS OF VOLUNTEERS for this event, points count towards family service requirement! Plus, there are lots of SSL opportunities (current grade 6 or higher). |

All 6 teams from our division will race the two fastest swimmers in each event. The coaches need to know whether or not each swimmer is available to swim. Please respond with a "yes" or "no" commitment. The coaches will determine the lineup based on those swimmers who say they are available. |

Championship meet at home between Woodcliffe, Kentlands and Stonebridge. Swimmers should commit to attending or not attending. Coaches will pick max of 2 events plus IM (if eligible) for swimmers. Swimmers may indicate a preference for certain events in notes section. NOTE: Due to weather cancelling two B meets, the teams have agreed (for the 2018 season only) to allow swimmers with no times (NTs) listed to participate in this meet. Swimmers who will participate in 2 or more events at Divisionals are not eligible. Swimmers who will participate in one event at Divisionals may participate in one event in this meet. Large ribbons will be awarded up to 12 places in each event. **Additionally, because all of our home kickboard races were rained out during the 2018 season, a quick kickboard race will be held at the beginning of the meet. Swimmers who will be swimming any stroke in this meet may not participate in the kickboard race. Woodcliffe warmups begin at 4:30. Meet begins at 5:30 |

8:30am (warm –ups begin at 8am) Western County Outdoor Pool ____________________________________________________ Please join the Poolesville Swim Team for the 11th Annual Sarah E. Auer 9 & Under Mini-Meet. This is a great opportunity for the youngest members of the swim team to shine in their very own swim meet! The events are divided between more experienced swimmers (with qualifying times) and beginning swimmers. There is a $15 entry fee with an unlimited number of events per swimmer. Stroke and turn officials will be present. Ribbons will be distributed to all. The Piranha Café will be open and serving fresh donuts, muffins, coffee and many other goodies. |
