The purpose of time trials is to establish official times for swimmers prior to the first Saturday meet. These times will be used by the coaches to determine who will swim in the Saturday meets. These times can also be used by the swimmers to measure individual progress throughout the season. Swimmers will swim and be timed in all strokes excluding relays. Please be sure to let the coach know that you will or will NOT be attending the meet. You must sign up by the deadline. You will not be able to sign up at the meet.

PLEASE NOTE START TIME AND WARMUP SCHEDULE:

Time Trials will start at 8am and swimmers should be at the pool for warm-ups at 7am. Swimmers will warm-up by age at the following times:

11 & Up 7:05-7:20am

9-10s 7:20-7:35am

8 u 7:35-7:50am

Please choose the events your child will swim, with a maximum of all 4 strokes and IM. Preteam members do not attend Time Trials. See directions below. The following guidelines will be used:

We also need you to volunteer!!! This is a great meet to try out a position you have been thinking of doing. There's no pressure and it's a fun time to learn. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, June 9th.

All 6 teams from our division will race the two fastest swimmers in each event. The coaches need to know whether or not each swimmer is available to swim. Please respond with a "yes" or "no" commitment. The coaches will determine the lineup based on those swimmers who say they are available.

Championship meet at home between Woodcliffe, Kentlands and Stonebridge. Swimmers should commit to attending or not attending. Coaches will pick max of 2 events plus IM (if eligible) for swimmers. Swimmers may indicate a preference for certain events in notes section.

Swimmers who will participate in 2 or more events at Divisionals are not eligible. Swimmers who will participate in one event at Divisionals may participate in one event in this meet.

Large ribbons will be awarded up to 12 places in each event.

Woodcliffe warmups begin at 4:30. Meet begins at 5:30

9:00am - Away meet vs. Tally Ho. Swimmers should meet in Tally Ho parking lot by 8:00am. We will enter the swim club as a team at 8:10. Warm ups begin at 8:30am.
