Woodcliffe
Wahoos Swim Team is open to all members of the Pool & Clubhouse
at Woddcliffe community that are in good standing with the HOA and
are between the ages of 5 and 18. A swimmer’s age is
determined by the age he/she is on June 1st of that swim
season. Each member of the swim team must have a valid pool
pass.
Swim Team is
not swim lessons. In order to be on the team children
must:
be able to
demonstrate the ability to keep up with the team during an entire
practice
be able to
swim one length of the pool utilizing one of the four main strokes
without stopping or touching the bottom
If your
child is not yet ready for swim team they may be assigned to the
pre team, Wee Wahoos must:
be able to
enter the water without an adult
be willing to
get their face wet
be able to
swim a half length of the pool without stopping or touching the
bottom
All swimmers
will need to be evaluated and placed into an appropriate practice
group by the coaching staff. Please see more information on
